- Every dog is chained in his/her own
20ft X 20ft area. We maintain a certain chaining system... each chain is a specified linkage grade with heavy duty swivel
hooks (everything must swivel)... and each dog wears a custom made collar with an "O" ring in which we hook the chain too.
- Each has a 5-gallon water bucket that
is placed in the ground with the rim 2 inches above ground in order to avoid tipping over. (Young dog's may have their's above
ground, because they aren't big enough to tip them over yet.)
- Each dog has his/her own stainless steel
food bowl. We do NOT use dog feeders in order to be sure they are provided with fresh food daily.
- Female dogs are provided with a 4ft
X 4ft dog house, either plastic or wooden, with adaquate ventilation.
- Male dogs are provided with a 2ft X
2ft dog house, either plastic or wooden, with adaquate ventilation.
- During the summer we lay out our custom
designed automated sprinkler system... it provides each dog with a cool shower that they can either lay under or lay away
from... it sprays for 15 minutes and cut's off for 15 minutes, etc... during this time the dogs can choose to lay in the wet
area and move when it comes back on.
- During the winter we fill each dog house
with hay and place 3 inch carpet on the floor of each dog house in order to provide a warm dog house for each dog.
- The nursery sheds are air conditioned
and heated..... moms and puppies are comfortable during summer or winter..... Puppies are raised inside our home until 2 weeks
old, then mom & pups are moved to the nursery sheds or when weather permits ( not too cold, not too hot) they can
go in mom's dog house.

- We provide clean and fresh water.
- Allow free running & exercise time.
- Check on them several times a day.
- Interact & play with every dog,
talk to them, teach them, etc.
- We also look at their overall conditions,
make sure ears, mouth, etc are fine; make sure they don't have any scratches or wounds that needs attention; check their nails
lengths & clip if necessary..... etc.
- Also, clean their areas of any trash,
feces or objects that can hurt them or entangle them.
- Our dogs are brushed weekly, have their
ears, eyes and faces cleaned.
- They have Advantix applications applied,
for Fleas & Ticks.
- They get their Heartworm Prevention.
- They all get Bathe monthly; also their
nails are trimmed; ears, eyes & faces cleaned.
- Every dog & puppy over 17 weeks
old are Wormed every 3 months for all parasitic infections.
- Every dog begins to have their teeth
cleaned between the ages of 1 1/2 - 2 years old (depending on the need), then they continue to have routine cleanings every
6 months.
- Every dog has his/her Vaccination &
Rabies shot every year.
- Puppy Vaccination Schedule
- 12 weeks ~ DHLP-P & Rabies
- Wormings are done 3 consecutive
days in a row
We use Panacur wormer.
